In Canada & the United States, telephone service providers are required to provide access to emergency services (911). There are certain exceptions, such as certain calling apps, which will explicitly specify that they do not provide 911 access. IXICA is a Type 1 CLEC and by regulatory requirements, mandated to provide 911 access on all services.
